FIELD NOTES

Watch each other’s backs.

Create a camp and share its code, or use Start expedition inside the game to set off alone. Walk right to the striped shop. Each explorer starts with 240 sample coins: buy gear, then equip it.

Move with arrows or A/D. Jump with Space. Hold E or Strike to fight; tap T or Throw to send your weapon ahead. Face a threat and hold G or Guard with a shield equipped. Repeated hits can break your guard, so keep moving and watch the rivals’ attack warnings. You can practise these moves safely at camp before setting off.

You have four health points. If a partner falls, approach them and press E or Revive. If everyone falls, you regroup at a checkpoint with your purchased gear kept. Pausing or shopping stops your controls while the shared fight continues; camp is a safe place to rest.

Clear the bridge patrol, then press E or Repair by the mechanism. The shared puzzle pauses the action for both explorers. Successful stone moves pass the turn. Finish the crossing, face the far-bank patrol and read the journal together.
